Sorry for the delay

Just in

"Rudy will be going to Utah on a ski trip and then will return to his crate and be in the mail. The weather sort of ruined my plans for this past weekend but our next outing is paid for and is a for sure thing. I hope he doesn’t get any ideas with the whole polygamy thing…"

Check in later in the week.

San Antonio - The Alamo !

Here's the latest on Rudy's adventure in San Antonio. The pictures tell the story. He loved the Alamo, so much that he shrunk it and took it with him. Snow cone sales paid for his bar hopping on the River Walk. He got a little carried away, the margaritas and the sun combined. He didn't look before crossing the street and had a close call with the UPS. Luckily his Reindeer powers kicked in and he walked away without a scratch. He caught a show at the Majestic Theatre and made it for his flight just in time aboard the Trolley. Hope all is well.

Barry's great, BTW, but Rudy's a Hillary man

Where the hell have I been? Caucusing, baby!

Few knew, but your intrepid hero is a longtime Democratic Party operative. His travels were suspended while he spent time in Idaho helping with the Super Duper Califragilistic Tsunami Tuesday Caucuses.

Thank God Rudy had peeps in Idaho. He got to Boise just in time to get a shout-out from Barry. (Largest crowd in Taco Bell Arena history -- way to go Barry and Rudy! BFF!!)

Rudy, pumped, goes back to volunteer headquarters for a little time with the database ...

And some time stuffing envelopes.

It was time well spent. Rudy's work helped push attendance at the Idaho caucuses higher than any other year. As a reward, he got to spend caucus night in the war room. This is Rudy on the phone with CNN, updating results.

Soon it was back on the road. But not before taking some time to soak up inspiration from Rudy's political idol.

One more view...

View of Santa Fe from a hill to the north

That hump shape on the southern horizon is Sandia Crest, 60 miles away by Albuquerque. It's over 11,000 feet above sea level

The cross of the martyrs

The peak to the north is the highest point in NM, at over 12,500 feet

More downtown...

More scenes from downtown Santa Fe

They sell lots of stuff here, Santa Fe is quite the tourist destination

Some staircase that only Jesus himself can hold up...or something

The biggest church downtown

Looks impressive!

Don't worry, I didn't go in
